In 2008 I joined a local choir, reviving my college choral experiences from the past albeit this time in French, but by coincidence also rehearsing in a medieval building, La Trebillane, in Calas. The choir has allowed me to indulge in playing saxophone on occasion and given me the chance to hear one of my own arrangements performed.

Our new director is musician Gunter Scholler, singer, pianist and composer whose warmth and sense of humour is helping us to easily adjust to new beginnings. We have begun working on 'A Little Jazz Mass' by Bob Chilcott, the main work which we will be performing next year.
Our previous directrice was Brigitte Bouc, alias 'Bibi' who was committed to helping the choir strive towards greater heights. Her dynamic personality and wonderful accordion-playing took us through many concerts and gave us some great memories. With both our directors our warm-up excercises are an education!
